UNIT embodies a modest yet impactful approach to improving transportation accessibility in
Barcelona. Situated within the familiar confines of the Tanger-Badajoz bus stop, this project
ingeniously combines an existing infrastructure with a thoughtful addition: a designated space for e-
bike parking equipped with charging stations. At its core, UNIT seeks to address commuters’
practical needs while fostering a sense of sustainability and community. By providing a haven for e-
bikes and ensuring they remain powered up for the journey ahead, UNIT aims to encourage the
integration of cycling with existing public transit options. In doing so, it hopes to contribute to
Barcelona’s more inclusive and eco-friendly transportation landscape. UNIT aspires to spark positive
change in urban mobility, one small step at a time. Their vision is rooted in the belief that even the
most modest initiatives can pave the way for a brighter, more sustainable future for the city and its
residents.
